Should boxing adopt MMA-style rounds?

Think about it. I’m so tired of watching guys poke at each other for ten rounds, with decisions so often controversial. Five five-minute rounds for title fights, 3 for non-title. Interesting things could happen in those longer rounds.
In UFC and Belator I sometimes disagree with decisions, but never see the blatant robberies of boxing. Fewer but longer rounds will demand more honesty of judges, and not allow them to hide out the way they often do, as there will likely be fewer swing rounds. And fighters won’t be able to coast at all.
I am so tired of watching undefeated prospects win 100-90 decisions over so-called crafty veterans. Longer but fewer rounds would be more fun to watch, as superiority will likely be established without needing it to be dragged out for round after tedious round.
UFC is also run much better. They always said that because boxing is international, there is no way to globally govern the sport. MMA has proven this untrue.
UFC is brutal and sometimes hard to watch, but boxing has become a boring old ritual, boring and frustrating to follow.

I think if boxers wore 4 oz gloves and were allowed to hump each other on the ground it would be a lot better.

No and I don't agree with your points either.

No, the boxing rounds are fine as they are. Many other striking competitions are of 3-minute rounds, but 3 to 5 in total. Boxing with his 12 is the hardest fighting sport you can compete in, considering also that most of the strikes are to the head.

Boxing just needs to change the way the fights get arranged and mandated for now. We can rather argue the scoring system, but that's too far for many.

No of course not. MMA needs longer rounds because of the grappling aspect and how it takes longer for stuff to develop at that range. 3 mins is more than enough for pure striking rounds.
