Reading about Iran Barkley and Saul Mamby fighting again on the front page had me pondering this if these guys are going to fight at least they should be in with other fighters of similar age thoughts?
i completely agree but theres the problem that then we will have to add another title into the mix which brings even more confusion
Something that would make me weary of a seniors division is that for many boxers, their power is the last thing to go. This could lead to older fighters who should no longer be in the ring being allowed to do so because thay are fighting another "senior", and putting them at harms risk against a fighter who can still bang.
no but there should be a pension fund were everyone would contribute with the millions being made something should be done so that some of these old veterans dont get left with anything and then have to fight in their old age and risk their health is just wrong.
no i could just see disaster with guys that have just retired or reached the age limit fighting some overweight fighters way way older and way past their prime.
