Something that has got my goat recently, is that a lot of people are saying that Bradley/Alexander winner deserves serious P4P consideration.

    I Don't see why.

Devon Alexander was ruthlessly exposed in his last fight against Andreas Kotelnik, and Kotelnik was robbed.

To me, Alexander is now a paper champion, Bradley should beat him easily.

In my opinion this fight is not important.

Now, in my opinion Amir Khan should be #1 @ 140.

Here is the order that I see Khan and Bradleys last few wins going from best to worst (im not counting abregu, that was not @ 140lbs, or Nate Campbell who is a lightweight)

    #1 Marcos Maidana (AK)
    #2 Andreas Kotelnik (AK)
    #3 Kendall Holt (TB)
    #4 = Maglinaggi/Peterson (AK/TB)

Maidana has wins over Ortiz and Cayo, Kotelnik has a win over Devon Alexander, Holt is a decent puncher, but has no great resume, and was stopped by an unknown in his very next fight, Paulie is past best, but i think him and peterson is a 50/50 fight.

So yes, Amir has a better resume at 140lbs than Bradley AND he came up from 135lbs to do it so is better P4P

Beating Witter who was unbeaton for nearly 8 years in his own backyard? That not a factor?

Bradley has won the WBO WBC Titles and is still un defeated he is easily number 1.

I like to judge who's best in a division partly by resume but also with the way they go about there performances.

For me although Khan's shown bundles of heart and speed and ability i think Timmy has shown himself to be a very well rounded and stable champion.

I think he takes it just due to his wins and way he's handled business with pretty much minimal fuss. Away from home against Witter and beating Current Champions as well as young contenders and doing it very very well.

Even getting dropped by Holt he still cracks on and takes the fight and took it well and that wasn't vintage Bradley. He shows more to parts of his game then the other champions at 140!

I don't pay attention to alphabet titles, or earlier losses, otherwise Berto would be better than pacquiao.

I also think Bradley caught Witter at the right time, witter has been poor since that fight.

    I like tim, but i don't think he's a clear cut #1 imo

How do you see a khan/bradley fight going?

what do you think will be the deciding factors?

    :rofl

Witter was the number 2 in the division higher than anything Khan has beat or fought. :good

Sorry highlighted the wrong bit Berto was supposed to be highlighted, don't matter what Witter has done since at the time he was number 2 in the division with wins over Kotelnik and was unbeaton for 8 years Bradley went to his backyard and took the title off him.

Until Khan beats one of the top fighters in the division he can no way be rated higher than Bradley and if Bradley beats Alexander of course that makes him only beating Tim himself to take over him.

Just dont know how you can leave the Witter fight in your analysis :huh

So he has looked **** since it doesnt count? So if Mosley beats Pac then Pac looses to say Berto Mosleys win over Pac does not count?

I think Bradley will win. My reasoning is his adaptability and will to win, He's everything you want in a champion. He seems to fight differently each fight he's like a chameleon and i think him and Joel Diaz will come up with the right plan for Khan who IMO may have developed survival instincts and a chin but still doesn't have the resources to fall back in...when put into a tight boxing match.

Lack of a inside game as well as a young man still fighting off nervous energy and instincts. Bradley is a mature and more well rounded champion and i feel stylistically he can take it to Khan in different ways.

I can't see Khan shoeshining his way to victory against Bradley. Bradley's very sharp and does have intentions in his sharp counters. I don't agree with crap like he will keep Bradley at end of jab all night when he couldn't against Maidana and anyone who really has forced issue with him. Bradley's a craftier prospect then people think.

It be a tough fight for both but Bradley once he gauges range and timing will take over and rip Khan apart on inside.

What? Are you saying Mosleys **** showing against Mora has no significant baring on how we rate Mayweathers win?
Or how about vitali's domination of the HW's, would the Lewis win look as good if he was ktfo or looked shot against Sanders/Johnson afterwards?
Would Calzaghes win over Hopkins be regarded so highly if Hopkins didn't dominate Pavlik?

Of course what a fighter does after a defeat has baring on the level of win for his opponent, it's common sense and the fact is Witter hasn't done **** since his loss to Bradley and let's not forget it was a close SD, not as if it was domination.
It's not that it "doesn't count", but the strength of a win can be measured by what the losing fighter does next.

Witter, Cherry, Holt, Campbell, Peterson, Abregu trumps ***in, Barrera, Kotelnik, Mallignagi and Maidana.

Add to that Bradley hasn't suffered a 1st rd. KO against a fringe contender and he deffo deserves to be rated higher than Khan.

I agree that Bradley is no.1.

But how dow Khan's loss at 135 plus wins over Barrera and ***an and Timmy's win over Abregu at 147 come into the equation?

We are talking about 140lb rankings here. Only fights at that weight should be considered.
