I linked a video a few posts up. Looks slower than Broner. My guess is he will try to take Broner deep. I think Broner is faster and punches harder. Uchiyama only ko'd that guy in the video near the very end of the fight. Maybe as much from exhaustion than anything. And Uchiyama only has 18 fights.
If he is really that good, then he should have no problem going to Japan and destroying him there in his backyard. Because as of now, UCHIYAMA is the best in the division.
I agree but im sure that fight wont happen in Japan . And Broner to me is the best in the division. But the division is lacking.
Im riding with you on this one ( about Uchiyama ) The only thing Uchiyama can do is give him the work he needs to move forward cause I dont see him winning. After that I think he needs to go to 135 cause thats where he will make his bones.:bbb
I think he beats Uchiyama soundly. Japanese are not known to have the most solid chins in the world (boxing or MMA). Beat Uchiyama and move up IMHO. He would pretty much do all he "can" in that division. If he wants to get bigger then some kind of risk is needed to get more attention. Fighting Eloy is not one of them though to us fans it is a solid win. For the mainstream, that will not get you that much attention.
Broner would ice this fool!! Too slow for Broner. Too many people overating Uchiyama based on the Solis and Salgado stoppages when in fact his best career win was in only his 8th pro fight vs Hussein. He's good fighter but come on yall when has a budding American star ever gone over to Japan to challenge for a title??? Proly never....it ain't gonna happen unless Uchiyama has aspirations to be a big name in boxing by coming to the US but like most Japanese fighters I'm sure he'll be happy to stay in Japan fending off mandatories.
broner should stay at 130 . it sounds like he can make weight comfortably. theres other fights at 130 besides uchiyama
