Should Bute have been counted out against Andrade?

laffie... i hope some day this guy gives you a shout out in the ring for all your work.

I know what it is because i stick up for Andre Dirrell and people still call him an actor and a runner.

He needs to fight here.....here. I got no problem with him fighting Brinkley.. in wait of what falls out the tree of the super 6.

The canadians and romanians sticking up for Bute is levels above the validity that the English fans have in the case of David Haye.

I'm not convinced that info is the complete truth. It's one thing for Ken Hershman to say it so he doesn't look bad in the process, it's another to have it confirmed.

I wouldn't be surprized Ken came up with that answer without even consulting first with "INTERBOX", their true interest & demands. The Bute people weren't approached at all, no negociation, no feel out process to see financial demands, no questions asked, etc., nada !! I call bull**** on that SHOWTIME statement !!!

The Super 6 was meant to have at least 3 Americans in it and the Europeans were heavily influenced by the Sauerland team which first came up with the Super 6 idea, so Bute was like an odd man out. My take on this is Bute was never, and I repeat was never regarded to be there in the first place, unfortunately !!

The way Dirrell talked after the fight cannot be acted.
He had a concussion for sure.

he didn't know what the ****... and he was crying cause he thought he got popped and lost while on his feet.

nobody ever wants to go out like that in their backyard. especially not after he was giving the fight of his career and the blueprint to a german wrecking machine.

your boy is like dirrell in a way...that matrix ****. ...dirrell is an incredible wiz at standing in that spot and seeing the punches coming and weave out the way in the same spot...beautifully... kind of like how pernell whitaker would do.

bute is like the matrix in the way of being in the action and seeing that opening for the fight ending bodyshot.

They know what Bute makes up there in Montreal, even with TV money. It is their job to know. They wouldn't have to contact him to know. Plus, Bute was in no position to need this tourney. It was the brain child of Kalle Saurland. We didn't know when the details first started emerging that they would have Kessler 'in house'. I don't think Saurland wanted Bute, or Pavlik for that matter. He was in New York lying to Arum at the time about an Abraham/Pavlik fight when he probably already knew that Abraham was going into this event. So, yeah, bottom line, I think Bute was not considered because he would have been a threat to Kessler and Abraham. So much for careful planning....

another thing is that Bute needed to rematch Andrade... therefore if ShowTime wanted Bute in the super6, they had to take Andrade too.

that's why I say they should've made it the super8

If the call went the other way there would be just as much controversy

What happened to Bute in the fight? why did he get so exhausted?

In the post fight interview he seemed fine. It didn't seem like Ali after the thrilla in manilla when Ali was gasping for breath and you could tell his head was spinning. Bute seemed coherent, calm and happy. Don't understand how he was so exhausted in the last round

Bute is a very dedicated boxer. He was not overtrained neither. I've seen Bute many times in 12 rounders and he was always the stronger guy at the end. Andrade has an extraordinary stamina and tires his opponents but even then, what happened to Bute was abnormal to me.

In the Ring magazine, Bute's trainer said that he got a food poisening just before his training camp, then had a reaction to the antibiotics. All his blood formula went crazy. His coach wanted to postpone the fight but Bute insisted to do it.

what a trooper... i always find it amazing how some of these fighters get their ass kicked in the ring and in the meantime they weren't 100 % and were overcoming adversity....little do we know.
