No, SafetyPin would spoil his way to a boring victory where Welliver can't win.

Chauncy has a contract on the table to fight for the WBO International HW Title in Macau in June. He has waited as long as possible to try and get the Seth Mitchell fight but they are too scared to make it official on paper. He will be in Hong Kong on Sunday to start the press tour.

Welliver is the best conditioned HW on the planet. He is a 12 round fighter. Seth Mitchell should sign up for Prizefighter as he is a 3 round guy. Welliver will be waiting for some HW's with the stones to go Championship Round Distance.

Is that fight still on? Against Raphael Zumbano Love? It's not on Boxrec :huh
I doubt that fight will give Chauncy much exposure. Plus he's already WBO ranked.

Isn't the real reason Mitchell won't sign to fight Chauncy that HBO don't think he's a big enough name, which is why they're going after Chagaev instead? Surely Prizefighter would give Chauncy exposure and make him more marketable for big fights?

HBO is a lame excuse. If Golden Boy or Seth's team is not smart enough to throw the guys on the HBO table before they start making offers and negotiating, then they do not deserve their spot at the table.

Seth Mitchell is a huge power puncher. Chauncy has the best chin in the business. If you can't sell that fight then all of these folks are in the wrong business. Chauncy is one of a handful of men who is rated Top 10 to both Klitschko Brothers. He has a WBC Continental Americas HW Title to toss up. Seth has the NABO to throw out for the WBO where Chauncy holds numerous Asian and Pacific HW Titles for. The winner of that is a sure fire Top 3 rated HW to both brothers.

HBO can get lost anyways. They are not HW credible anymore. Them *******s would not even show Chambers vs Dimitrenko on 4th of July in the USA! They would not show Wlad vs Chambers either. NBC has been putting on better HW fights than them in their short time on air. HBO sucks at gauging the HW division.

Prizefighter is not a format for a HW going after the World Championship. World Champions fight 12 round fights. Let all these fools coming off recent losses jump into that mess. Chauncy will keep on winning and streaking towards a 12 round match with a klitschko.

Zumbano Love is a far worse opponent than those who are known to be in the prizefighter tournament: Johnson, Sosnowski, and Meehan

Chauncys best move would to enter the prizefighter tournament. If he could win he would get good hype.

The winner of the last heavyweight one, Perez, got some good hype after the last one but squandered it really

Chauncy may hold a bunch of unknown trinkets but they don't make you well known. Fighting name fighters and TV exposure does and Chauncy has neither.

Kevin Johnson is coming off a big win and he's entering Prizefighter. Why not Chauncy? It's obvious that the Mitchell fight will probably not happen and the WBO International fight against some can isn't going to do anything for Chauncy's career.

If Weliver would just fight someone who is ranked in the top 50 or even 100 that would be a something. He needs a fight to prove himself on the bigger stage.

It may be Love or it may be someone else. Love is a recent Top 15 rated WBO HW. He is the current #15 WBA ranked HW. Chauncy is WBC #6 and WBO #8. You do the numbers.

Chauncy has HW titles all over the world. He defends on 3 continents yearly and he is the most active rated HW there is. Every one of his fights are 10-12 round title fights.

Chauncy has been after other Top 15 rated HW's for a long time. Do the research here at ESB to see how many Top 15 rated guys he has called out in the last 2 years for big fights. He was an interim WBO APAC HW Champion to David Tua and waiting on him for 2 years when he was rated #2. Barrett messed that up when he ducked Chauncy to face him..see Solis destruction of Barrett to see why. And now Barrett WBO #9 is facing the unrated Cameron instead of Chauncy who is his interim WBO APAC Champ and waiting now. He went after Arreola. He is after Mitchell. He wants the Solis rematch. He is on record to take any opportunity that arises to face a Klitschko. Cmon now.

Love would be the 1st such rated Top 15 guy to sign on the dotted line instead of duck. He's on the low end of the totem pole but at least he is on it. Chauncy will do us all a favor and blast him off of it if he is the guy. If not, he will beat the hell out of whoever else it is. And continue the Dinosaur Hunt!

It wouldn't be wise, Kevin Johnson would absolutely decimate him. He better stick to his usual diet of bums :yep

This stuff is all meaningless though Messr. It doesn't matter how many trinkets Chauncy holds, he is not well known due to a lack of exposure.
Over 50 fights but only one (the loss to Solis) on Youtube I think.
Prizefighter would give him exposure, and better opponents than Zumbano Love.

  15. Thought Chauncy said the Mitchell fight was CONFIRMED!!!
