Lately it seems as if Roach is nothing more than just a name for his fighters.

He no longer gives instructions in the corner, he just expects the fighter to know what he wants and never gives them any adjustments. His instructions have become a "you can do this", "gotta step it up kid", "ok lets box now ok" type of stuff.

What do you guys think ?

looks like Freddy's Parkinson is catching up on him, one of the greatest trainers ever, with a huge love of the sport, but it might be better for his health if he just retired as a trainer

Parkinsons has nothing to do with the fact one of his (ex) fighters had the ring IQ of a turnip and a chin made of wet toilet paper while the other is a spoiled brat.

blame the trainer when the fighter doesnt listen and the fighter doesnt want to train.

If Freddie retires now, what is he gonna do for a living? I think his WC gym is his only investment?

Chavez should fight another Tomato Can, take the Martinez rematch [read properly: LOSS] and retire...

I think chavez jr needs to drop the cockaroach. He's overated and the good fighters he has are only good at withstanding punches. Chavez Snr. should train Jr. He'd give his son more motivation and provide better fighting intructions than Freddy's bull**** talks.

He needs a trainer who can teach him the jab and some footwork and defense. He also lacks straight right hand.Within that things you cant beat a slick southpaw boxer like Martínez.Chávez have natural talent and potential, but need proper technical training, not only physical.
