My first reaction was yes. But then I checked his age... His just 30, I repeat, 30 years old.
If he really wants it, he just needs to take the sport seriously and train regularly.

If losing to Khabib means you should retire then there wouldn't be a very big roster!

He needs to go back to the drawing board but i think he needs more activity and better conditioning.

He still is the star of the show and the needle means the rematch will be huge. Would be even bigger if the first fight was closer

The cash cow will continue for sometime, expect a rematch vs Khabib and Nate Diaz, possibly a boxing contest vs Paulie Malignaggi, even a hybrid contest vs Mayweather could be possble, plus a few other UFC fights, id expect him back on St Paddys day and from then 1 or 2 fights a year, probably a retirement then a comeback also.

Its all about the money $£€$£€$£€$£€$ !

    No.

He was foolish to go straight into a fight with Khabib after two years out, he was foolish to have no real gameplan other than walk straight forward looking to land a big left.

He may not ever be able to beat Khabib but he has a real chance against Ferguson and all the other LW's and he'd still be a slight favourite in a third fight with Diaz.

He should do the rocky 3 theme and train with Nate Diaz to get his cardio up to par. He can go swimming with nate to Alcatraz .

Too much money in it. Think he tries over the course of his next 2-3 fights to get the belt back and then the last two are novelty fights + maybe a weight jump again. He'll almost certainly fight out his contract before retiring.

He signed an 8 fight deal before the Khabib fight so he's in this for the long haul. With the 2 years off he has the built-in excuse that he was rusty and not at his best. He'll surely get another shot at the title as I still think he cleans out everybody at LW except for Khabib.

Plus he cleans the clock of Diaz, Poirier, Gaethje, Ferguson etc at 155.

Ferguson would knock him out too. He is too small for this division and he was very overrated.

He can beat a dehydrated Nate Diaz at 155, or Aldo rematch at 155.

But I thought that deal was was 6 (now 5) fight.

    Seems like an odd question.

Hes the biggest star in combat sports, still near his prime, with tons of money left to make, in a few very interesting matchups yet to be made.

Most people knew he was going to get mauled by Khabib, not sure why he should retire after the expected. There are other interesting fights to be made within the division that involve Conor.

Ferguson has no defense and can be hurt. He gets annihilated... McGregor is an awful matchup for him. See Alvarez fight.
