Should Cotto be in the P4P list again???

well last time i checked The Ring, he was still in the P4P Ranks

but hell yeah, not just that but the WW Ranks as well, his 0 should still be on his record, that loss should be a No Contest, i mean i gotta admit i'm bias since Cotto is one of my top 3 Fav. Fighters but, **** i hate to see young hungry fighters go in there and give there all and lose to some ****** who decided to cheat

i dont care who the fighter was, anyone who lost to Margarito should have that loss in question

 

I think we should wait and find out what was it the doctor scraped at before rushing to judgement.

It's all based on him saying the substance flaked like plaster of paris.

Which has turned into on here, they found plaster of paris, then onto plastic, then brass knuckles and now bricks.

 

Team Cotto had a responsibility to apply the same due diligence Richardson showed. Either they did and nothing was there, or they didn't, and they blew the opportunity. Either way there isn't a shred of evidence. This is where the fan **** takes over. We have to have some integrity as a forum.

well the term Brass Knuckles and Bricks etc. is just being used to describe how hard it makes his hands, he doesn't actually have stones in his hands, but honestly think what a rock hard fist can do to a fighter who gets hit hundreds of times

this is a sport, it's not a street fight, thats just unacceptable, i'd want any of my favorite fighters banned if that **** happened

He isnt my favourite fighter, not even close, and if he has used POP under his wraps i'll be going off on one like the rest. Disgusting thing to do in the fight game.

Im just not gonna chastise a man, and question his whole career for something a doctor said acted like POP.

 

^^^YES! Because Margarito probably had illegal wraps when he fought Cotto. The legitimacy of the Cotto - Margarito fight should be investigated.

 

i agree with you, i'd hate for all his hardwork to go to waste if it really was just this 1 time, but the thing is, how can it be proven when the fights over, and it was never checked?

i heard someone say "Cotto's camp should of checked", thats not right, you cant place the blame on them for believing Margarito had enough decency as a prize fighter to not cheat

i mean, it's a problem if he really hadn't of hardened up in the Cotto fight as well as others and they do penalize him just because he tried in this one fight, but wouldn't it be worse for him to receive credit for those victories and he had done it?

i personally think he should suffer the concequenses of his foul actions and foul intentions, he knew the jeopardy that this would cause his career if he was caught, but he did it anyways

but ****, i'll just have to wait and see....

 

Williams and Mosley beat the same Marg that beat Cotto, why should Cotto be on the list?

 

If the substance found last night turns out to be POP i'd have no problem with folk questioning the Cotto fight and his career.

Like someone said it's not often you're caught the first time you try something, and seeing as the punishment wouldnt be that severe for last night coz it happened before he got in the ring then maybe he'd deserve to have his career looked at with distrust and distain.:good
