Its funny how some people lose a fight and disappear from everybody's list. But each of the TOP 5 P4P in The Ring list have at least three losses
When will Vazquez & Marquez stop being put on the p4p's? I MEAN, these guys have been out for more than a year and have no immediate plans to return, doesn't that qualifies them as at least semi retired? If not , then we could probably bring back Mayweather, maybe even Lennox Lewis.... while we are at it why not put Foreman @ no. 2, he might return as well, nobody knows...
You are conviniently leaving the very well known little fact that the commission was about to clear Margo again if it wasn't for Nazeem checking on them!
The official was going to clear Margo. The commissioner never did. The Nevada State Athletic Commissioner cleared Margo of any wrong doing and stated that he is certain that his wraps were clean and that there was no need to launch an investigation. This doesn't prove for certain that Margo did nothing wrong in that fight, but it sure is hell isn't an indication that he did do anything wrong.
Cotto is just outside my P4P top ten, he could be just as easily be just inside someone elses. So the answer is 'depends'.
At first I said no because he lost to a guy that was barely ranked in the top 25 P4P but I changed my mind and now have come to the conclusion that Margo cheated in their fight so I say yes he should be.
I'm not the biggest fan of Cotto but I can't see any other fighter right now taking his place on that list.
