You could sense the chemistry was better. You could tell Cotto trusted Diaz.

And although no one will confuse Margarito with Mayweather, he seemed to be able to formulate a gameplan rather well.

He's better off sticking with Diaz. Steward wasn't a good fit for him.

Diaz seems to communicate with him better, make him work harder, and reinforce a broader set of fundamentals. Steward did it good, but I think Diaz works with him better. Margarito looked like basically the same fighter that night, while Cotto looked like a different animal.

Yup. He had Miguel use great lateral movement going both ways, setting traps, and becoming the aggressor in pressuring Margarito himself.

I loved the clips of Diaz following Cotto in a circle at close range making Cotto continuously rotate and pivot out to a different angle.

The Cuban guy, The chemistry is there, better coordination, stamina, gameplan, evrything was better with Cotto. Plus this man approchaes conditioning in a scientific way, he went to school for this. And in 24/7 you can see how he encourages him kinda like Cotto was a 12 year old kid, he's a lot better for him as far as encouragement. Also he's used to training Olympic amateurs, and in the amateurs it's all about who lands the most, that's why Cotto is throwing more punches now and he has no choice but to improve his stamina. Cotto is a new beast under this man's guidance.

CHEF has said the same thing about Kermit lacking heart so that backs up what Manny said about him.

Cotto has worked with both trainers and we'll just have to trust his experience with both of them leads him to the correct decision. I'll be pulling for Cotto be realize it is a long shot. I wonder what the odds will be on this fight?

I say stick with the Cuban guy. They have a great rapport and comfort and confidence can go a long way. Plus, he is working on Cotto's stamina and footowork; things he'll need against Mayweather.

keep the current guy. Cotto looked great in his last fight with some major technical improvements. I thought he looked bad under Steward.

Manny is a great trainer but not all trainers fit every fighter just because they're great. Diaz seems to be a good fit.

I dont know wat manny steward brings to the table in terms of being a coach all i know is that when he commentates he normally seems clueless.

so my vote is stay away from him.

Cotto's last fight against Marg wa sthe best performance from him that I reckon we have seen in a long time. Diaz has him moving & working angles a lot more so stay with him. Steward's had as many flops as he has successes with fighters & Cotto didn't look settled with him in the corner.
