should cotto hire manny steward or keep the cuban guy for his fight with floyd?

I wanna believe. If Pac hadn't damaged Marg's eye I really think the second fight was headed the way of the first. I don't think May will pressure like Marg though so I hope he does better in this fight.

 

The two fights were like night and day. Cotto may have slowed down, but I doubt from those last rounds, he would have caved, especially seeing how he handled Margarito in close with no problem.

If anything Margarito was the one that was looking pretty bad, Cotto was starting to go to the body in the later rounds, because Mragarito was tiring out and his uppercuts weren't as effective in the inside later on. I think Mrgarito could've been stopped late if they continued, it would have been a slaughter, with Cotto being super, focused, angry and sharp.

 

Keep the Cuban guy. Looked like a better fit.

 

if it ain't broke, don't fix it. use both trainers if you have to

 

the cuban did pretty good especially taking his lap top and going over the workouts etc

Steward is a one dimensional trainer and cotto is not that dimension. Manny like tall rangy fighters and really only seems to know that style of training.

Pedro Diaz is a good trainer. Miguel looked great against Margarito.

 

This would really do big things for Cotto's trainer if they could devise a gameplan to actually beat Mayweather ..
