I personally think that Boxing should borrow the asterisks that Baseball is going to use on Barry Bonds and use it on Margarito.

There's no proof of any wrong doing in that fight so shut the **** up until you can find some.

The fight that should really be changed into a no-contest is De La Hoya - Mosley II... we already know what he took. :deal Not surprisingly the Nevada State Athletic Comission hasn't said two shits about it since the report came out. Not surprising because Mosley is a boxing sweetheart and is predictably getting preferential treatment on the matter.

You can't change it to a no contest now since there is no way to prove whether Margie cheated against Cotto or not. Until it can be proven Margarito cheated against Cotto you can't take away Margarito's victory. At the same time the loss shouldn't effect Cotto's legacy since Margarito could very well have cheated and it gave him the upper hand in a fight he otherwise would've lost. It wouldn't be fair to Cotto so his stock should be where it was before he fought Margacheato. This is only fair.

Thats why I think Boxing should use the asterisks like in Baseball and put it on Margarito's career.

Yes it should be a no contest, but with no proof and the moment passed its like Mark Mcguire we know he cheated yet we cant prove it. The court of public opinion is adifferent matter. Im my mind Cotto is undefeated. The haters and Margo fans see it different.

Agree with this. Margarito shouldn't have the loss taken away from him and Cotto shouldn't have a dark spot on his record. THey should duke it out again and then will know for sure.

in his last 10 fights he had a 99% KO record prior to that it was 18 ko's in 28 fights or something like that not sure. I suspect that with the comp getting tougher your KO percentage should go down. I Believe Margo started cheatng in his last 10 fights.

His accompishments should surely be placed under scrutiny and doubted. The man cheated, do you believe he only cheated against Mosely? why?
it does not make sense. Guy has cheated before and got away with it. You have to be in serious denial not to be able to consider it. But again to continue to say there is no eveidence once the occasion has passed is a copout.

Then they would have to change the cintron fight to a no contest... golden johnson fight to a no contest.... etc.....etc......... How did you come to the conclusion that this particular fight should be changed to a no contest.... Did you watch the same fight that I saw~??

#1 Did you see who was soaking up more punishment throughout the fight... Cotto was landing very hard flush HEADSHOTS throughout the fight...

#2 Cotto is vulnerable to uppercuts

#3 Cotto was wobbled badly by Chop Chop (not really a puncher)..... Hurt and dropped by Ricardo Torres (who is a puncher)...

#4 Margarito has a hell of an uppetcut....

U put 2, 3 and 4 together and you got a big reason why Cotto lost that nite....

Since nothing has been proved.... Margarito wins.... If they fought again, it might be a slightly different story... But Margarito would more than likely win..
