Sauerland invested good cash into him, they will drop him now and if Price will continue he will have to find some smaller promoter (if anyone takes him at all) otherwise become a journeyman. He must feel awful and I feel really sorry for him, but if hes realistic he should retire. He's young and healthy enough to learn a real job. If he retires at 40 years old with a 35W-35L record he might have slurred speech already.

Fury would have met the same faith had he the guts to face Tony thompson.

Fury's jaw is as bad as Price's.

:deal He's not fit to be a boxer, it's not just his chin but boxing ability and mindset.

    Nope.
You're wrong. Fury would have decisioned Thompson quite easily. Fury has a good chin, good recuperative abilities and a big heart.

Price has none of them. He also a lousy jab and terrible stamina.
    Doubt you watch much boxing

Sometimes a new trainer or a new style will help. But I went back through David Price's history, and he was getting dropped and knocked out a lot even as an amateur.

I think it's all caught up with him.

He should probably call it a day. You can't keep suffering those kinds of concussions and just think it won't bring on more problems later.

This is spot on. Stiverne stopped him in amateurs for one. He also was stopped twice by Thompson a decent puncher but not a big puncher in the second and fifth rounds. Now this. It's not good. And he looked flat out awful before the stoppage. Pack it in.

Well he does. And when he goes the distance with Waldo you'll realise that.

Yes he should retire especially with that chin, he is a actually a really good pundit maybe he can get a job in that.
