Go to 168, try to fight Canelo, and then bring Smith up to 168 for the rematch?

Maybe fight John Ryder and/or Benavidez to suade a Canelo fight.

Problem is he won't get a fight with Canelo now. All he brings is name value. I think his plan was beat Smith, GGG.
Now... he has to beat Smith and then probably someone else before he can try and get GGG in the ring

It's hard to say where Eubank's goes now. He will want big money high profile fights but hasn't got a belt and has lost the 0.

His 0 was gone years ago with Billy Joe & Grove.

Only place I can see him going now is the Benn fight and Smith rematch.

His only hope of beating a legend now is to avenge one of his father's defeats and time to safely call Joe Calzaghe out of retirement now he has turned 50.

Jnr would probably still get schooled but it is the pay that matters.

If Smith can knock Eubank out then Canelo will punch him into out of space, he`s not a world class fight, Smith exposed him again.

He can’t beat Smith at 160. He looked weak as ****.

Eubank looked drained at 160. Punch resistance not there and being hit with an elbow didn't help. Can still win another world title for sure.

Your completely correct of course... how the hell have I forgotten that. Half asleep.
I can't see him fighting Benn now he was shredded vs Smith and I cant see him getting any lower and it being good for him. Smith isn't a huge puncher and hand him gone from two good shots.
168 is probably where he needs to be but he might think a rematch with Smith wipes the slate and then one final chance at a big name.
It's funny it's only 1 defeat, but with RJJ as a trainer and the weight cuts I now think he maybe doesn't have long left at the top. He's not a young guy.

When you think that during Eubanks entire career, Liam Smith probably would have beaten him all along - It's pretty funny.

Needs to win his first one, before he can win another.

Smith has already came up a weight to fight him. No reason why he would go up another weight to fight him. As for Canelo and Benavidez lol. Ryder would beat Eubank too. After Ryder gets beat of Canelo the Eubank fight would be a good match up if at 168, but at that point won't be enough money in it for it to happen imo.

If only Eubank Jr had good footwork, good punch power, good boxing IQ and he had the fitness to do 12 rounds at a good pace, then, and only then, would he have been even half as good as he claims !!
