Should Eubank tell dad to stop?

100 percent won't fight ggg, just seen Barry Hearn and froch interviews today saying he won't fight ggg or they highly doubt it, yet people on here call him world class and buy into the name dropping...wish the fools were banned from here.

 

Eubank Sr is there for the entertainment value, he was there from the start and will probably be there at the end. It's like a double act, it's great for promotion, building Jr's profile etc..

 

I've said since Golovkin was suggested by the Eubanks, the Eubanks say a lot of things, they said they wanted Saunders again and then turned it down when offered, they said they wanted Jacobs and walked away from a mandatory position.

It's all publicity for them, they live for publicity. And let's be honest would we all be talking about Jr Vs Doran like we've been talking about Jr Vs Golovkin?

No chance, nobody really cares about that fight but for two weeks people have been banging on about Jr Vs Golovkin on these forums and telling me Jr is world class, beats Golovkin and is some sort of future P4P superstar :think

Some of the threads I've read have been so ridiculous it's actually made me question why I come on here

Exactly, yes. Obviously they are going to say not enough money was offered to them, listen if they do fight am more than willing to eat humble pie but just can't see it. He couldn't beat a unfit Saunders. Hard to win a world title at the higher weights with no Jab and one game plan.

 

Tbh him and matchroom are a perfect match.

 

Why would he walk away from Jacobs fight for British title shot if he wasn't going to win it outright. GGG won't happen. Not while GGG is at 160 anyway.

 

His match making skills seem a bit different/special but he is entertainment gold. We will see next week if they are real about GGG. I think they are and it will be a bad look of they backout now.

 

They needed those fights before BJS not after, i don't think Jacobs is much of a step up from BJS apart from power but maybe they wanted that extra seasoning. CEJ is ready for world level now maybe not GGG level but it will be interesting to see it happen.

 

Hope he does and ggg does him in four.

 

:yep it got a little real for them so they will have to price themselves out to try and save face and keep up the pretence.

Next week it will be DeGale, Callum Smith or Groves/Murray they claim they want to fight and we will end up with Eubank Jr Vs Adam Etches.
