Should Evander Holyfields records be stripped.

Not only was Evander an extremely dirty fighter inside the ring. He was caught by the FBI buying Steroids, and HGH. Without that extra juice he would of never beat Tyson. As far as I am concerned his records should be torn page by page out of the record books.

Evander can go down in history with the likes of guys like Barry Bonds, Mark Macquire, and Sammy Sosa. All around in my book Holyfield was a fraud. He portayed himself as a self righteous humble, fair, family man. When actually The Fake Deal was a ******* having own sperm bank, steroid using, money spending egomanic, in the ring a dirty rotten battering ram head ring cheater.

There is another thread where he is widely considered to be one of the best "warriors" to ever step foot in the ring.

Holyfield is pretty much in the same boat. I don't think that was fair at all.

 

Since almost everyone is on PEDs, no.

 

Based on the amount that have been caught, should we assume that they're just the top of the iceberg, and that everybody in the sport is suspect

if so then everyone who supports him is a disgrace to boxing and the boxing authorities are even worse if they did not give him a life ban

 

It wasn't Evander Holyfield that was caught, it was Evan Fields.

 

Some of what you say is true, but Holyfield ALWAYS beats Tyson. Tyson is overrated as hell and steroids or no Holyfield was a much better boxer and wasn't scared of Tyson or anyone else.

 

How is he going to beat Tyson at 176 lbs? That is what he started at.

 

it cracks me up to see the Tyson fans are still running strong, the truth is nobody talked about Holyfields head butting until mike got beat twice by Holyfield, further more those same group of fans love to bring up this picture, what those fans tend to forget is that Rahman caused this clash of heads, if you were watching the fight and actually looking at what was going on in there, Holyfield had Rahman hurt and in trouble Rahman backed on to the ropes trying to get away from holyfields attack, Rahman then bounced off the ropes and the heads clashed some how this was intentional by evander:-(
