Not a full f!ght but one round would be interesting! Some could try to cause a cut that could open in the fight and others will try to box in a different way to how they fight! Make it happen!

They do that in the WWE, but that's to rehearse actual moves they're going to do and not do any f-ck up's in the "real" match.

I think some people are overreacting, it's not that stupid. OP just had to be more specific, what he's suggesting was very broad.

I'll add my own take on this. Two fighters that will fight eachother, should spar each other 3 times, for 4 rounds, with professional judges judging the matches. These of course will not count towards your win/loss column. This would be part of training camp. This is a substitute for "watching videos" of your opponent. Instead you actually spar them and get to try different things with eachother. Then you both go in to training camp knowing firsthand the size, speed, strength of your opponent. The fighters will be paid for the sparring matches, and the winner of the sparring matches gets a bonus check, this will prevent fighters from going "easy" and not wanting to show their opponent their true form. The bonus will actually make them go hard; the bigger/popular fighters get more money for these sparring matches. These sparring matches will also be good for the fight build ups, HBO/Showtime/24/7 can take clips of the fighters best moments and hype up the fans with them.

This is still very broad and needs more detail, but I tried for now.

BTW, this is all fantasy, i'm just using my imagination, this will never happen. But I think if the best boxing minds come together for something like this, they can pull off something good.

It would give big names too much of an idea about who to avoid.

They already have amateur bouts + sparring. That's enough rehersal, imagine Hopkins gave Tito a practice fight? so you think the real obe would still have happend?

Wlad may never have another fight. Can you imagine if Haye had been given a preview. He hurt his back at the thought of fighting Wlad the first time. Broke his toe just getting to the ring when he did fight him.

Get ass kicked in sparring = I injured something so fight is off.
