Should fighters who are proven cheats be exempt from the HoF?

As far as hatton beating Tszyu, I've no problem with that if it were done without CONSTANT and TOTAL cheating on the part of both Hatton and the ref. Now,once again, are you going to retract your statement,"Hatton was not a cheat," and admit to his cheating as you've already admitted that he was dirty. You are the person that made the "without having to become dirty fighters" statement in the 1st contri of this thread. If you can't stand by your own words, you can edit the 1st contri and delete the dirty statement remark.

 

Hatton was nowhere near dirty enough to get disqualified. It was a schooling, sure there was some rough stuff in there from both, but not cheating :deal

 

Hatton was filthy the whole fight. Parriss was incompetent and biased the whole fight. For example, I love it in the 5th or 6th round when Hatton held Tszyu behind the head and proceeded to hit him at least 6 times while Parriss stood there and watched: very typical of the fight and of Hatton in general. So, what you're saying is that Tszyu was as dirty as Hatton and that filthy fighting as well as incompetent and biased referreeing are not cheating?

 

And yes, ANY competent and unbiased ref would have dq Hatton in that one.

Now show me a failed PED test from Hatton or a time he's been caught loading his gloves and I will happily say he's a disgrace to the sport and does not belong in the Hall of Fame.
