Should fighting dirty/clean affect legacy?

I think refs should be harsher on headbutts, elbows, rabbit punches etc. Fighters would foul a lot less if they got deducted a point every time it happened. Also far too much is passed off as accidental when, with the benefit of a replay a ref could see it was clearly intentional and take a point if required.

 

I don't see why it should effect legacy. The bout is judged on the night...warnings, point deductions and disqualifications are there for a reason.

For example football, a team could kick the **** out of another team for 90 minutes and pick up the victory...but they would still pick up the points at the end of the game, and these would be added towards their points total (legacy).

Not the greatest example, but oh well.

 

I mean to a degree I agree with this.

As much as it annoyed me to see what Hatton got away with against Zoo, it said more about Zoo's lack of infighting skills, which is on him at the end of the day.

 

They really should allow the referee access to quick replays in between rounds, not every round...but rounds which contain incidents. That way, if there was an accidental headbutt what caused a cut, or a headbutt which was intended to cause damage...the referee can dish out the warnings, point deductions or even disqualifications before the start of the next round.

What if the question posed about being dirty or clean was referring to PED's? Because it's a fact that a lot of yesteryear boxers used PEDs bedfore they were all the rage and the hot topic like they are today...
