Healthy Martinez turns that 0 to a 1. But really though, I hope FMJ writes off fighting at MW. Cause if he fights for a MW title, the only thing any boxing convo will be about for years is "why is FMJ ducking GGG" and im already sick of that meme.

Martinez will beat Cotto. Floyd will not call him out. We will probably see
    Canelo/Martinez before Martinez/GGG!

I'd like to see it. I think Martinez could make a decent catchweight for the fight. No point in fighting Cotto again.

The problem is though that people really won't be happy until they see Floyd fighting Wlad. That's how ridiculous it's getting.

I can see a couple different scenarios playing out for the winner I think the one most likely to happen is Cotto in somewhat of a upset vs Martinez then Cotto making his first Lineal defense vs Alvarez should he win his fights during that period and the Cotto-Alvarez winner fighting Mayweather next year for the Lineal MW Title. If Martinez wins I think he most likely fights GGG he's already stated as such who wins that is interesting depending on Martinez health/age.

Even now that Sergio is a member of the AARP, Floyd still does not have the balls to get in the ring with him.

Yes, I've been wanting to see Mayweather-Martinez for quite some time now... More than any other fight in fact, and that's a fight than can easily be made if Floyd wants it.

Yes. So we can see Martinez vs. Mayweather. I like the stylistics of this matchup. While I'd bet Mayweather, I'd be nervous as a post-bachelor party best man sitting in his car in line for a DUI roadblock.

Cotto is tailored like a Savile Row suit for Martinez.

Perhaps. It depends on who wins and the PPV buys that winner would bring.
personally, I think Mayweather may fight and win a MW bout or two before he is through to cement his legacy.

And you are living in a dream world.

The only way i see floyd fighting the winner of this fight is

    1. Cotto wins

    2. Martinez wins but looks like a shot fighter.

If martinez wins and looks on his game NO WAY IN HE77! Floyd goes anywhere near him. Canelo will avoid Martinez also if he appears to be a threat. i think martinez only fight will be GGG at the end of the year and id be super excited for that:happy

Mayweather has never fought at Middleweight before.

Obviously, any WW that went up and scooped up the Lineal title at MW would be getting quite an accomplishment done, regardless of if you think it'd be the greatest recent feat in boxing or not, it would be nice.

Here's the problem with your logic. Cotto is going to get destroyed meaning Mayweather would have to fight Martinez. And that isnt gonna happen at any weight where Martinez wont be weight drained
