Should Floyd Mayweather even be considered in the p4p rankings any more?

It honestly doesn't matter whether you want to rank him or not in a list. He's the best fighter on the planet, bar none, whether he's listed or not.

boxing isn't a mainstream sport and floyd is one of the few boxers on the planet who can change that for one night at least. believe me, floyd's staying in the rankings even though it's all one big illusion and doesn't affect floyd's ability to fight anyone he wants over the next few years if he chooses too.

Some people like to try to remove Floyd from rankings arbitrarily as a way to get back at him for making fools of them repeatedly throughout his career, among other things. Some just get so mad at how he lives his own life that they can't enjoy their own... and so again, taking him off of their rankings is the only recourse they have against him.

nobody should be affiliated with a fighter so much that they take his woes and fortunes personally anyway. people like that need to understand that you ain't going anywhere in life if you don't believe in yourself.

let elite sportsmen inspire you but that's it.

but floyd deserves criticism because he blatantly built himself up as the second coming, and the one fight that can shut everybody up who has criticised him (rightfully sometimes) for cherry-picking...he walks away from with barely a whimper.

he's a businessman, fine, but he's not backing up everything he's said for the last few years by not taking the pac fight.

we make fun of how he lives his life because he is not living up to the potential that god has given him.

sure he has an O, but against whom? how he lives his life outside the ring and how he conducts himself as a fighter is part and parcel of who he is.

he has fought against mosley and jmm in the last 33 months and blatantly accuses pac of using peds.

the reason he is getting so much flak is that he is acting like a twat not just in his day to day life but in his boxing decisions.

he is a *****. period. :bbb
