Should Floyd Mayweather even be considered in the p4p rankings any more?

Well it's cherry picking in my book. I'd love to see Pac fight Timothy Bradley. Pac should fight the winner of either Bradley/Alexander or Williams/Martinez. If he beat Williams/Martinez winner, he'd really vault up a lot of p4p lists to the top cemented. Now the same goes for Floyd but he has no plans of fighting anyone for a long time. Berto is a nice fighter, but he's a better fight for Floyd than Manny.

I guess you haven't even thoroughly read the thread. Stop yourself. If Floyd fought Manny I believe Floyd would out box him. This is not about Pacquiao vs Floyd. This is about a guy who doesn't like fighting often who fought a lightweight and an old man in his last 2 bouts. Ever since the Arturo Gatti fight Floyd learned that he can cherry pick fights, and still get the cred.

manny sloppy....take a look at that man's footwork, his ability to maintain optimum fighting range is top notch: in and out...in and out. Freddie Roach knows that footwork is always the key to making an ATG fighter. Anyone can have strong fundamentals...skill...heart but if you can't move your feet in a rythmn you will be at a disadvantage when it comes to fighting boxers

lol, seriously, are you even old enough to drive yet kiddo? You are so accustomed to debating with Pacquiao fans, it's pretty blatantly obvious. Floyd and Manny not happening is both of their faults.

TYPING IN CAPS DOESN'T PROVE YOUR POINT KIDDO!

Yeah I believe he gets a little sloppy leaving his chin out and leaving his hands down when throwing combinations. He's open to a solid counter punch but these guys he's fighting aren't capable of delivering that type of shot.

those guys are 154 pounders and not even sure they could come close to 147, thats why Pac is fighting margarito at a catchweight, there is no way manny could make 154 and you can't make margo come down to 147, it would drain him.

you have to remember manny is an offensive fighter, his skills are not in the evasion arena, the man takes one shot to deliver three himself.

Well both Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez have stated they would gladly drop to 147 for the opportunity to fight Floyd or Manny. The excuses out of Floyd and Manny's camps are "they are too big". Well where was that excuse when Floyd was the "too big" fighter against Marquez? Anyways.

No I agree. This style works against the competition he's facing currently. I just wonder if he would hold up against someone who's gonna time him and fire back? Or how about someone equally as aggressive with equal or more power? It's all a bunch of speculation but it lends to the point that he still has more to prove. He's proving nothing against slow fisted Margarito.

one of the weaknesses I see in Manny is his inability to cut off the ring, he was chasing Cotto way too much, didn't matter against Clottey because Clottey ain't slick he uses the high guard.

Yeah Clottey has 2 modes. Attack and defend. He can't attack while defending. Tailor made for Pacquiao's style.

Funny you say that and let me stop your anguish. Manny doesn't know how to "technically box " either. Manny truly is a one dimensional fighter. If you step to his right you throw a wrench in his whole game plan of his overrated angles. If you don't exchange with him he gets all frustrated as hell and resorts to the same repetitious combinations over and over again. No the fact is he's built up only because of the hate for Floyd. He's the best candidate for idiots who want Floyd to lose.Floyds absence was the only reason he's even ranked P4P#1. Don't fret SD Finest. Youre not alone in the stupidity of sheeple masses of idiots who follow fads. It's ok bro.:good
