What more business does he have at 147 other than the Pacquaio fight that at this point I couldn't give a smack about? Assume Pac fight doesn't happen, what is there to do for PBF at welter at this point? And PBF has settled into his weight enough that he looked the bigger man vs Mosley. Should he move up and test his skills at the next division. I think there's nothing left to do at welter anymore. He can get some good fights at 154 against Williams, Mora, or even Margarito when he returns (which I figure to be at 154).

No. Aside from Pac there's still more name value at WW than 154 and hence probably some more viable monetary options. At 154 he could market a good fight with Paul Williams and Sergio Martinez but thats about it, and I don't think he wants to fight Paul.

It's really a 3 man race at 147 now.. berto, mayweatehr and pac... and we all know berto will be out of this race sooner rather than later.

So yes he should move up, the smart move is 160.

I can't see him that far up in weight, mostly because of his height and build. He'd probably lose a lot of his speed. 154 he did good against DLH. I think fights would be more competitive here. However, I doubt he wants to do it. He's planning his retirement about now.

Either 154 or if he can't find any 40 yr olds there maybe he can fight Edwin Valero's corpse.

If Floyd's moving up, he should go to 160lbs and take the Middleweight crown from Martinez. Still, he'd only come in around 147-151lbs, so he'd be at a serious size disadvantage.

Well, he wouldn't actually put the weight on to be at 160lbs. Just show up lighter and outskill the bigger man, if he in fact wanted to move up a division or two.
