I wonder if a top trainer like freddy roach could improve Carl Froch and make him a more rounded fighter, his defence is so sloppy i was quite shocked Saturday nite.

no because with a fighter like carl tweaking one thing would have a detremental effect elsewhere..

    he is what he is!

    mcrackens a good trainer.

    No he shouldn't.

He doesn't need to **** around with a new trainer at 31.

Yeah Mcraken was giving him loads of abuse i never heard him like that, but it did look sloppy to me, that guard was so low, i dont think Froch had the best nite to be honest he looked nervous as hell.

McCracken was brilliant throughout the fight and was very honest with Froch throughout I thought especially going into the last round.

changing a trainer this late in his career probable isnt the best thing, although it seems to have worked for ricky hatton

He didnt listen to his trainer thoe did he, thats why he had his hands so low, and got caught with counters did you not notice that. I like Froch i have always supported him but the fact is he has a sloppy defence. FACT. He needs to tighten up mate.:good

He has won a title and defended it,if he had lost on Saturday i could understand people calling for McCracken to be fired but he did not lose.So far Froch has been a great sucess under McCracken why interfere with that.

Hes not going to listen to every single thing-things that hes never really done before. Fighters will fight their fight and anything helpful that their trainer gives them is good.

Frankly its quite insulting that you would want froch to leave hes trainer.
Hes defence is not gonna suddenly turn into james toneys or mayweathers.
Im pretty sure theyll go back and work on some things after this fight
