Froch has something of Prince Naz's mentality about him. He thinks he can knock anyone out just because he's done it to a succession of average boxers. The Taylor fight didn't help and probably confirmed his belief that he can be lazy but always find a way to knockout a 'top' boxer regardless of what any trainer says. I've got lots of respect for his heart and toughness, but he has a lazy technique and relies far too much on looking for a one-punch KO. He was swinging wildly a lot on Saturday night and missing by miles. He needs to get back to basics if he wants to compete at the highest level.

Froch did an interview with Primetime during the week and said he would not have got past British Title level without McCracken, so no he doesn't need a new trainer!
