I am not asking who would win. Just who should rank higher.

Froch has A level wins over Jean Pascal, Jermain Taylor, Andre Dirrell, Arthur Abraham. he has B level wins over Brian Magee, Sergey Tatevosyan and Robin Reid. His only lose was close, away from home to Mikkel Kessler.

Bute does not have a win one his record that is better than Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell or Abraham. Miranda, Andrade, Joppy, Bika and Tatevosyan are all B level wins.

    I think so, yes.

I don't really like the guy, but Froch's level of opposition in the past 5 fights has been nothing short of brilliant. And winning 4 out of those 5 is something that demands respect.

As of now, I have him ranked ahead of Bute, and probably any other active fighter at super middleweight. So does this mean I'm placing Froch as the number-one 168 fighter based on results :huh? ****ing hell, I think I am!

Yeah. His level of opposition can't be ignored. He's beaten better fighters, so he deserves to be ranked higher.

Again, knee jerk reaction. Froch goes from Eurobum to the man in one fight. I'm pretty sure half of you guys voting Froch had Abraham knocking Froch the fff out a week ago. Don't lie, there were like 10 Froch supporters and that's it, and they got ridiculed and humiliated.

Froch has been my favourite boxer for the last 5 years, being from the same area as me. It was good to see him return to his boxing skills of 5 or six years ago. If him continues to keep using his skills and not going into war he can become the standout fighter of this division and possibly the LHW dvision when he moves up after the super six.

He has promised Pascal a return fight in canada. Its things like this that make him a stand out fighter in this day and age. You may laugh when i say this, but in 3 or 4 years, we could be regarding him as a future hall of fame fighter. Already compare his resume to someone like Calzaghe and you see a huge difference in the quality of opposition.

The problem with froch is that in reality he has lost 2 of his last 3 fights and taylor made him look like a clueless slugger until the lucky 12th rd KO.

Bute actually displays real boxing skill and rarely drops any rds. I'd day there is a pretty big skill gap between these guys and it has been already displayed in the ring.
