Is it impressive at all? Wilder’s record before Fury was padded and when he finally started fighting good people he got battered again and again.

Don't know at this point. He is clearly diminished now, i'm sure there are people on this forum that would beat him if they were the same size. But then again, he was never any good. Whether he was just mediocre with an S tier right hand or an utter bum with an S tier right hand is up to interpretation

Should Larry Holmes be given credit for beating Ali?

Should Mike Tyson be given credit for beating Larry Holmes?

Fury took Wilder's mojo nobody else did and had the defining trilogy of this era

yes.. he took a lot out of Wilder. Look at Lloyd Honeyghan.. He went down fast after Starling beat him, should that diminish his win over Curry?

Of course. Part of the reason why Wilder is completely shot now is because of the two severe beatings that Fury gave him in their 2nd and 3rd fights.

I was ALWAYS irritated AF when people bigged up Wilder. He was a windmilling journeymen crusher. He had 2 wins over Luis Ortiz (when he was 38 years old) and a generous draw w inactive Fury before being brutally stopped twice. Then he got shutout by little Parker (at 38 years old) and stopped by 45yr old Zhang.

Wilder was a PBC hype product. Just like Spence. Just like Fulton. And just like Tank. Tank just never fought anyone for it to be revealed...and he's still fighting TBA opponents lol

Yes Mike Tyson should be given credit for being the only man to stop Holmes because Holmes went on to have a decent run in the 90s.

Wilder was always very limited and Fury is very overrated in regards to his H2H ranking it's that simple.

Of course he should, Fury beat him in his prime.

Admittedly Wilder is several years older.

Wilder relied too much on his speed and reflexes to get his punches off, but being an older fighter now his reflexes just aren’t what they used to be.

Unfortunately he also never fully developed his skill-set, so he has nothing to fall back on. He also hasn’t seemed that hungry for the sport after the last Fury fight.

Wilder should call it a day and retire before he takes anymore damage.

Some credit but how much is up for debate. Wilder was an undefeated champion with 10 defenses. Buuuut his opposition was so poor that it makes you question if he was ever that good to begin with.

Other than Fury, Zhang and Parker are the best guys he's faced and they both whooped him. You could say he was past it against them but what proof is there of him being able to beat guys like them in his prime? Ortiz was old and also had a trash resume. He lost to Fury twice. I liked him but he's a big question mark of a heavyweight champion.

I definitely would not go that far. Wilder is bad but I guarantee you nobody on this forum would touch him.
