The guy is a walking contradiction and a one big duck.
He ducked Usyk like many times already.
He then claim no one wants to fight him, and then changed it that everyone outpriced themselves.

Ruiz wanted to fight him. Fury ducked with a lie that Ruiz wanted 20m.(never happened)
Frank Sanchez openly accepted Fury challenge on Twitter for opponent - Fury never mentioned his name - another duck

Martin Bakole - same story as Sanchez
Hunter - same story as above
Hrgovic was open for a fight - Fury ducks once again

Zhang could have been easy fight, as Joe Joyce openly say the rematch clause is allowing a fight in-between, and that he is open for a step aside money. This was also a big match, but Fury never wanted it, but just for cloud.

And now the fraud is fighting a guy with 0 boxing knowledge, absolutely zero on the boxing ring in a goddamn exhibition ...
Not to mention Nganu as a whole has s**** cardio, and zero boxing ability.

WBC will lose all of the little left prestigious(due to former great Champions that held the belt) if they allow this and not strip this fraud of the WBC belt.

It would have been terrible if an active Boxer is doing this, but when a guy is a Champion, this shouldn't be allowed.

    What do you guys think?

Curious the 2 Fury fanboys that voted, dare to explain yourself why he should not be stripped ?
Or you think that the HW Champion should fight misfits ?

It would be in the best interests of the sport if he is stripped.

He isn’t negotiating in good faith and is going to follow up the Chisora win with another soft touch.

The HW division has been stagnant this year because the main man has messed everyone around.

His last mandatory was only 7 months ago and if they do strip him the top 2 contenders are Wilder and Ruiz who can't agree terms so that wouldn't resolve anything and the 2 guys below them are Joshua and Franklin who have already fought. So they might then make Joshua/Makhmudov for the vacant title which probably wouldn't get made until end of the year, so we'd still wouldn't have a fight for the undisputed heavyweight title this year.

We just need to wait until this Saudi deal at end of year. If Fury still refuses to sign for that after Usyk beats Dubois then yeah strip him if he remains inactive. But this is the WBC the organisation who's happy for their champions not to have a mandatory defence for years and not care. Fury could not fight for the next couple of years and they probably still wouldn't strip him.

Rules are the Rules simple as that ! Fury has no mandatory fight due so can’t be stripped, until he refuses a mandatory fight the belt stays with him .

If he fails to fight his mandatory he should be stripped. Like Usyk should be stripped of WBA strap if he fails to fight DD.

    He should be stripped.

If Fury had been a real fighting champion, fighting more often & against better comp, then at this point in his career I'd say what the heck. Have fun, make a ton of dough, fight the MMA dude.

    But he's isn't & he hasn't so he shouldn't.

He should be ashamed for how he's treated boxing fans. Fury could've been the savior of the division with his wit & entertaining appeal but will instead go down in boxing history for almost single-handedly reducing the title of "HW Champion of the World" to an object of scorn & ridicule.

It's true that money has almost always dictated what happens in the fighting world, but at least there was always loads of great fighters around and lots of fights happening that people actually cared about.

Crawford & Spence Jr. would've been in a trilogy already, and would be retired by now.

His last mandatory was over a year, it was against Whyte(and actually his only mandatory) in April. Chisora was not a mandatory, but a voluntary.
And Fury team already said they won't fight Usyk in December(and if the date is moved to January or so).

And we are talking about a HW Champion fighting guys with no boxing record, a guy that is not a boxer, and doing exhibition fight, which should not be allowed at all.

There is also rules that WBC champion(corrupt we all know) should only make voluntary against top 10 ranking of the WBC and top 15 with a special permission.
Which was given for Chisora, who was moved to the ranking, so Fury can fight him.

    But you can't move Nganu.

You mean corruption is corruption. You can do whatever the f**** you want, as long as you pays the right money to the corrupt organization, right ?

Tell us also about the rules that the WBC Champion should defend their title in a voluntary, against Top 10(Top 15 with special permission).
    Waiting for it.

Yes, WBC is corrupt, but IBF is not because Usyk has the title. It's not like back in the days when IBF stripped Fury 10 days after he won the title. Also, WBC is corrupt and has no value, but Usyk must win it.

Come on Losh you know as well as I do that every WBC Champion has to defend his title at least once every 12 months, that is there rules as it is with some other sanctioning bodies also, no corruption it’s simply the WBC rules. When a mandatory fight is not due the Champion may fight a voluntary as Fury did with Chisora and countless other Champions have done before him. Fury fought his mandatory (Whyte) on 23rd April 2022,however Fury does not and has not been named an official mandatory challenger at this time. Hopefully a challenger is announced asap and then if Fury declines this fight and only then can he can be stripped as you already know .https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Boxing_Council

Yeah you are right, I knew he fought in April but thought it was Whyte, probably because I tried to wipe the travesty of the 3rd Chisora fight from my memory, lol.

Didn't know Fury was now saying Jan instead of Dec there's no good reason for that. I was hopeful this fight in Saudi was the reason for the delays and all this BS now is just them building the fight. But I'm wondering if Fury really has mentally checked out and has no intention of fighting anyone again. That or he's failed another UKAD doping test and it's again being kept quiet until the investigation is concluded as that's what happened the last time he was inexplicably inactive for no reason.

Muhahhahaa do you realize what you have just write ?
From April to now is way more than an year, you have a hard time seeing this ?

Don't quote me wiki, this is from WBC official site:
    Championship Defense Obligations
    a) Voluntary Defense Obligations: All WBC recognized champions must defend their title at least two (2) times a year. Champions will defend their titles either in a voluntary or mandatory defense, as follows:
    i) any of the top ten (10) rated contenders; ii) upon a majority vote of the Board of Governors, any boxer rated from 11 to 19 positions; iii) a champion or a top-10 rated boxer of another immediate lower or higher weight division, subject to the majority vote of the Board of Governors; iv) a former or retired world champion upon majority vote of the Board of Governors; and v) another boxing organizat

Now explain me buddy in where of all this is Ngannou fitting?

Now explain me how many times this year have Fury fought ?
How many at best he will fight ?

    b) Mandatory Defense Obligations. All WBC champions are obligated to make at least one yearly mandatory defense strictly pursuant to the following:

Why in the blue hell are WBC not mandated a mandatory ? They could have easily force Ruiz vs Wilder, with a one side decide to not participate, to remove them from their ranking.
They could have make the Number 3 vs 4 or so.
They could simply mandate someone else, or make Fury fight Frank Sanchez, who is number 4 in the world, unbeaten and WANTED TO FIGHT FURY.

You know why WBC didn't mandate a mandatory ? Because they are corrupt, and do what the promoters say. They are on a payroll from Warren.

Are you still going to ask why they are corrupt or ?

And how are that every single other organization have no problem and always have a mandatory ready?

Fury is fighting Ngannou in October, and won't fight against Usyk in Saudi.
Usyk will probably fight his mandatory Hrgovic in Saudi, whether it's December or January.
    Fury refused to fight.
