Urgh, my internet connection in London just dropped and deleted my reply with the sources.
    Ill make it quick:
    Sky sports article in May
The was a video interview with sulaiman around that time, maybe seconds out.
WBO hadn't made a decision on anything, but Sulaiman was already discounting Parker v Joyce based on an assumption they would.
Helenius was on track for WBA (v Kownacki was eliminator)
Ortiz was on track for WBO (v Martin was eliminator)
    It isn't/wasn't a problem

Yes, I acknowledge there is a non PBC fighter holding the belt. But Mauricio was certainly not happy about it. He took Wilder (the divorce) met the pope, not Fury the Catholic, and looked gutted when Fury won.
Mauricio didn't actually need to push Fury on retirement.
Wilder #1 following 2 defeats v Whyte dropping way down the rankings.
Whyte was the other opponent, I think that has been well covered

Also, yes, I acknowledge that Warren is close to the WBO as well. It's a problem. But the relationship between PBC, Barclays Centre and WBC is/was unethical during Wilder's reign. Sharing active board members, executives, advisors should be questioned.

But hey it's boxing. Corruption is nothing new. But the WBC is comfortable in taking the ****

Yeah I just don't see the point in getting wound up about this sort of thing. There is a weird PBC hating brigade online and it just all come across like that to be honest.

All orgs should be judged on the fights they sanction and WBC isn't too bad when you look across the whole sport but they bend all their own rules often and often **** up. Just look at the Lomachenko franchise situation. I think after Canelo vacated when they tried to force the GGG fight they have become a bit more twitchy and don't like rocking the boat.

They just announced that ridiculous belt for Canelo v GGG, and Mauricio was talking about ranking a youtuber the other month. So I think you might be jumping the gun on giving them credit

They always create 1 off belts for big fights, those aren't belts you defend or anything.

I'm not saying they are this fantastic organisation because they aren't. Just don't like all the PBC belt nonsense that's all, or the We Be Crooks. It's boxing, they are all crooks.
