Hearn now mentioned May as the month they're looking at for the fight. That won't give Fury much time for a tune-up. Would it be a mistake for Fury to go into the fight without one?

Fury would beat AJ rolling out of bed after a bender with no training camp

    No tune up needed

It couldn't hurt, AJ just had a tune up.

I know he planned to have one in December, but Wilder nixed that.

    Wallin won ~4 rounds

    AJ won't win 1.

    He is objectivly better

    Better gameplan
    Better fight IQ
    Better footwork
    Better chin
    Better gas tank
    Better mentality

    & better looking!

    I don't know.
A.J definitely should have tune up with Usyk in the ring.
Even Usyk is not 39 y.o Pulev. :D

He doesn't need a tune-up but it is a shame he's been kept out of the ring (partly his fault probably) when he looked so good in his last fight.
He already threw away his absolute prime years back in 2016 and 2017.
His whole career has been a bit start-stop-splutter-stall.

Pulev (tallest at 6'4" but horribly static)
    Ruiz
    Takam
    Povetkin
    Parker

AJ's last opponents are basically plodding glorified midgets. He's going to brick himself fighting a bigger man.

    Fury:

    Wallin 6'6"
    Schwarz: 6'5"
    Wilder 6'7"

& made them all look small

Who will AJ spar to prepare for Fury? There is nobody. Helenius.

Fury can spar Joyce, Dubious & a never-ending list of young talent.

    Pulev: 39 y.o underdog.
Panda: underdog that gave a lot of problems.:yaay
Takam: fight might had not be stopped. :bump
    Parker: nice ref in hometown:):hang:ohno

Povetkin: small for HW out of prime and over the hill.

he did 3 rd fight vs Ruiz I had better assumptions about him. then he might be maybe 2-1 vs Ruiz and not like now 1-1.
Until he will have Ruiz in the ring for 3 rd fight, I can't tell that he is better than Ruiz. Not at all. He should prove this.

Fury had fights vs Wilder as supposed underdog in U.S and he vs Wilder is 1-0-1.
    It does matters a lot.

That's very possibly the case unfortunately, even though Wilder 2 is the fight where he has impressed me the most.
