As for whether Fury should retire. - I really don’t care what he does after ducking Usyk for the second time in 12 months. I mean, in the eyes of pretty much everyone but his nuthuggers his career is dead at this point anyway. He won’t risk losing his artificial 0 and even most casuals see him for what he is - a con artist who had one decent win eight years ago and that’s it. He is going to be 35 this year, his physical decline is very obvious so he knows too that even if he risked it, he wouldn’t be able to handle the top 4-5 guys of the division. He might have a few more sparring sessions with Chisora and a hot dog eating contest against Ngannou but that’s about it.
It seems like he just doesn't want to loose his 0, so yes, that would be his only option. He can't fight another lower ranked fighter, surely not.
Fury should give Pianeta another shot. After that a rematch with Seferi, that fight looked close, the ref was a bit iffy. Then he could have back to back exhibition matches with Ngannou, Jake Paul and Mayweather. Then he can call out Usyk for ducking him and retire after declaring himself the best man born from his mother.
Sounds like a solid Fury-esque plan. Of course, all fights will be sold on PPV for a very worthy price of 89.99 USD. Won't be surprised one bit if some of these will happen eventually, lol.
Don't forget a rematch with Big German Balls Schwarz, back in the winning lane with a stunning one round KO over Muhammad Ali!!!
