"milking it" is what prevented fighters like sylvester and sturm from testing themselves internationally

can't really deny him whatever he decides to do, but i hope he maintains his 'lets fight the best' philosophy and heads to the states - he wont get the martinez/chavez winner if he doesnt

He will make BIG money if he fights Mundine again, good to see him put the offer out there, its all upto Mundine now but i doubt he will want this fight until he has won a title at 154LB.

it would lift geales profile here in oz. he'd become a household name with all the advertising, mundines big mouth, titles on the line etc. he needs that, so when he brings the big names out here to fight, at least the local non boxing fans know who geale is at least...

not to mention the millions he would make. the mouth he would shut, the career he would end, and a local boxing scene that desperately needs a bloke of his image and personality to move it forward.

geale. the best aboriginal fighter in the world!

You mean like Garth Wood is a household name? No one cares about Mundine, Geale would get ten times the kudos and publicity if he beat a decent name American in the US. Maybe he should fight Mundine but his future should be in the US rather than the Mundine route of trying to make as much as possible rather than going for titles.

A lot of people forgetting that Choc won the interim strap at 154......

Geale won't fight Choc as I am sure he would like to keep his belts.

    Pros:
Geale would likley make a load of cash.
    Avenge defeat.
Make him a bigger name in Australia.

    Cons:
Mundine doesn't deserve a title shot
Would loose some hard earned respect from the international boxing community.

It's a hard one, a boxer only has a limited time to make his fortune, so I wouldn't begrudge him if he did, however I feel Geale has moved so far on from Mundines level it may be pointless

Anyone who does not want this fight is a liar.

Geale fans want to see him beat Choc. Mundine fans know in reality that Choc would still beat Geale and would like to see Choc with a few more belts. All of a sudden people are trying to make a Soliman match up sound legitimate after years of hating on Choc for fighting him when it was actually competitive on paper.

Geale is a good champion, a good fighter and that is great for him but he can't **** with Choc - deep down everyone knows this.

Yeh yeh, we heard ya the first time....
Ok, in all seriousness, no, not me.
I'm sure a lot do, but from what I've seen here, some certainly don't. I'm one of them.

I did within 12 months from the first fight, but it's too little too late now.
I'm sure plenty Mandy fans do believe that, but I know at least 2 very hard core Mandy fans from here that know Geale would win now.
You know who you are... :yep
If it's a mandatory and you're stripped of the belt if you don't do it, then
    it's pretty legitimate, yeh?

I don't want Geale to fight Soliman, but it is what it is.
I'm sure you understand the politics of boxing as well as the next guy.
I actually didn't have a real problem Mandy fighting Soliman when he did. Only the third time was a bit silly, yet interestingly enough Soliman did ok. Soliman only got blasted in the second fight.
    Yes, we know. :good
No mate, Mandy is done at the top level, and you know it. :verysad

    Give it up fella.
Mundine was lucky to scape past Geale 4 years ago or when ever it was. Mundine is on the decline now and Geale is at his peak. I don't even think it would be competetive now

Why would I lie about it?
    Think about the logic.
