:bart:**** atsch Another one with a short memory. http://www.examiner.com.au/news/lif...ral/mundinegeale-rematch-ordered/1565258.aspx
Werd :deal Not saying Geale is like KT as a fighter, just saying that KT managed to maintain his dignity and class and still make a quid, and therefore I think Geale can follow the same path KT did without having to resort to trashtalking to sell himself.

Geez, you guys are wack. If you like geale and despise mundine, then geale v mundine makes perfect sense. Daniel gets good money to beat the **** out of choc and retire him for good. Whats wrong with that? Its ok to dislike choc and not want him to get a payday, but unfortunately he is still geales best bet right now. Geale cant change that. He cant cut off his nose to spite his face. Geale couldnt care less that choc gets a payday too. As long as he gets paid fairly himself, thats all he cares about. Its one fight. Mundine made a career out of soft touches, daniel is allowed one blow out.
Geale couldnt care less that choc gets a payday too. As long as he gets paid fairly himself, thats all he cares about. How do you know that is true?
not all agree but i thought it was a given that geale would make more money fighting Choc then any other fight he could have. A rematch with choc I would think he would be looking at over a million dollars. I cannot see any other fight out there that comes close to this
No one is denying Geale deserves an easy fight after winning the title, but imagine what overseas viewers (who now have a lot of respect for him after seeing him beat Sylvester) would think if he rematched Mundine? The overseas market is the fanbase Geale has to cultivate further. Mundine's known all over the world as being a loudmouthed idiot who was cold KO'd by the featherfisted Sven Ottke. I can't imagine Mundine engaging with Geale much after his performance against Wood, so it would be an ugly frustrating fight to watch, with Mundine ever-cautious and on his bike and shelling up on the ropes for 12 rounds. It would drag Geale's rep down.
Umm, because its the boxing business and thats how negotiations for purses work. You think shane gave a flying that pac got 20 mill when he got 5?
They'd be mad not to. Both sides want it so it's going to happen at some point, I'd say. The general public don't get sick of seeing Mundine beaten. A packed house in Brisbane for the Wood return outlined that. Over a faded Roger Mayweather... in guess what, his first title defence.
If Mundine v Geale did eventuate who would get the majority purse ? Geale is the belt holder and IBF champ but I'm sure Mundine would still like to think that he is the major drawcard . Personally I hope Geale doesn't get in the ring with the dud and bring himself down to his level .
:nut I've already given my reasons a few times, but here they are again. 1, Because Mandy now doesn't deserve it because he is a hack who was beaten by Wood. 2, Mandy didn't give Geale the right to the IBO ordered rematch when it should have happened. 3, Because Geale has stated he won't do the same as a few other fighters have done and that is take the easy road. All it's doing is delaying the pay days a little. But they will come, make no mistake about it. And you know that how? Have you spoke to Geale about it? I'll give you that one. :yep
