In one sense no as its unfair on the amateurs, but in another it makes it highly watchable. Overall I think not.

What are you talking about? GGG ktfo Bute in amateurs and Ward ducked Bute in pros. So, the way I see it, GGG had more ***** and greater opponents in amateurs than Ward in pros
I tend to agree... Olympics should be for the young amateurs... not hardened professionals. That said... the old USSR/Eastern Germany/Cuba etc. were stacked with professional athletes.
