    Trinidad is his best win.

Holmes, Echols and Joppy are solid but no better than the contenders today.

holmes was a wba champ, not a great one but a borderline elite.

pre-knife injury echols was very good, a champion if it wasn't for Hopkins. He tore up Byron Mitchell with ease, the one who some time later when about to retire joe cal visibly turned to the ref and asked him to stop his fight afte r getting floored in round 1. pre injury, an elite.

    Joppys not solid, hes elite.

    Trinidad is elite.

Oscar is questionable but an elite.

plenty of elites there. 3G's only possible elite was danny geale, a borderline elite at best.

Odin I have no truck with supporting you that 3G doesn't need to move up, but I don't take no shyte from you regarding other arguments, sorry mate.

Hop has holes in his resume for sure but he remains way superior to 3G's at present.

The comparison is arguably unfair and defunct though since 3G is still fighting and may go on to emulate Bernado.

What makes Joppy or Holmes elite?

I didn't say Holmes is elite so I don't need to tell you why he is.

joppy, in his prime he only lost to elites, everyone else was not a problem.

elites are a group who can beat everyone else with the exception of other elites.

I think he will surpass Hopkins record and if he can keep the ko record up it will be historic.

I'm a GGG fan but also Ward, Kovalev, Matthysse, Lomo not a fan of one but many.

I agree that Golovkin has yet to get an elite fighter on his record, but like Hopkins reign, imo there was no true elite fighters until Tito and DLH came along. Tito proved he belonged at 160, DLH not.

I think if you put all of Golovkin's victims and Hopkins victims at 160 into a match up I think you'd have some excellent fights between some overlooked equally talented fighters.

I'm not trying to be a ****, again it's just my opinion.

well i'm not dumb enough to claim that something will happen or wont happen for certain but it might, as I already said, so its too early to make comparisons, that is until 3g retires from MW.

don't know why you wrote this but the info is good thx. I like to learn about people.

yup Danny is barely a semi-elite, and that's 3G's top level so far.

    defintely
