I think he is a good fighter. I feel he was rushed into the martinez fight and eddie only used him to build bridges with dibella and hbo. Anyway it seems he cant go six months without a leg or srm injury. I think hes about 30? Should he call it a day?

So sad, I hope the lad can make it back and get one more world title fight.

All for his brother Gary, Darren wants this bad.

He was lucky to get his last title shot, no way will he get another...when he is fit again he should have a nice warm up bout then cash in against Murray or Macklin then call it quits. He has done well in his career and deserves one last good payday.

No he wasn't lucky to get a shot, a two time European champion who was unbeaten and only person at that time willing to fight Martinez and his display albeit not to everyone's cup of tea tested Martinez enough for him to heap praise on him and bust Martinez up a little facially :yep. I'd say he was more deserving then others who've contested world title fights.

If i was him I'd give it another 12 months, see how it goes and if he is still in the position he is call it a day.

I think it's a shame, IMO he is a better fighter than Macklin yet due to his inactivity and injuries he will never achieve his full potential.

    He is 'Man of Glass'

    Big respect to him.

I hope he continues if his body allows it.

When it comes down to it only himself, his doctors and his team now if he can go on.

He has had a bad run with injuries and it doesn't look great, but it could just be bad luck. I used to play rugby (not at elite level and went through 18 months of pure bad luck injury wise, nothing lasting though)

The guy is talented and he doesn't seem stupid he'll know if he can't cut it any more.

In the meantime how about we wish him all the best and support him.

Ye i wish him luck. Come across as a nice guy. I think the problem is he is too atletic for his own good if that makes any sense. He gas fast habds and good movement. He gas probably learned things which hus body wont allow him to do though.
