Personally I see no argument against it

It depends if you rank Ward at all. If you do put Ward in rankings I think Ward has to be higher. In my lost Ward is either #2 or nothing, maybe Im wrong but thats just my view.

Ward will soon drop out of most rankings anyway due to inactivity.

    My P4P list...

    1. Mayweather
    2. Pacquiao
    3. Ward

I moved Ward to 3 due to inactivity, any more inactivity and I'll take him off completely. If Ward knows what's good for him he'll fight again to stay on my list :deal

Not until Ward hits the "one year of inactivity" mark. Until then, Ward >>>> Golovkin and it's no contest. Look at opposition faced.

Ward shouldn't be ranked. He has only fought twice in 3 years.

The same has been true for Mayweather, Pacquiao, Bradley, and Marquez at some recent point in time, yet I never heard people rushing to boot them from the P4P rankings until their "one year of inactivity" mark was passed.

    Why Ward?

None of these men have gone a full year of inactivity as of late. When Mayweather did, he was booted, and earned his placing back with the Marquez win.

Ward is looking at a full 12 months out of the ring. And his only opponent in the last 24 months was a complete nobody.
