I mean if we keep it real, he is going to be 37 and he is deteriorating. I don’t think he still has that power and speed what he had 3-4 years ago, but don’t forget (even if lot of people saying he is only a brawler) we are talking about an amateur world champion and an Olympic Silver (got robbed from gold in the final) medalist fighter with good ring IQ.

His strongest weapon is his very accurate jab. Abel said before he trained him he was an outside fighter, and against Canelo in the rematch we saw that kind of Golovkin.
I think he should forget about being a knockout monster and “Mexican style”, he made his name, from now it’s enough to “just win” the fights with jabs and good defence.

Golovkin switches styles when he has to.

He already has, he outboxed Canelo, fighting on the outside.

Nah. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Golovkin hasn’t been beaten legitimately.

The only thing that needs fixed is boxing’s bull**** now days.

Yeah I know he won both fights, and I think this “new” Golovkin did very well with the outside boxing. He should do the same on the trilogy fight, if he gets robbed again third time it’s the biggest shame in boxing history.

Mexican style is too taxing on old fighters

Needs to go under Master Mundine's wing. Aboriginal style is timeless

I'll be honest I prefer and always have preferred GGG the "boxer" as opposed to the seek and destroy "Mexican" style.

Yeah I'm with the.... 'he's already proven he can fight in various, appropriate styles'.... camp, so why restrict or limit him to one now? He sort of knows what he's doing by now. Love fighters who can switch between seek and destroy and slickster, depending on the opponent and situation, and still win (Hagler, Duran, Holyfield,..so on..)

Why change styles when you can change promoters to Oscar and move to Nevada, never lose again, unless you fancy a draw, that can be arranged. Would sir like a steak? Ignore the unnatural texture of the meat sir its just Mexican.

Golovkin is very versatile, he can do it all, inside outside, front foot, back foot. I can't see what he can change up to do better. IMO he is undefeated.

Should Hagler have changed his style after drawing with Antuofermo?
Should Duran have changed his style after losing to Leonard?

Nah. GGG is a master at what he does: let him do it.

Anthony Mundine is The Man!! If Floyd had Mundine's testicular fortitude maybe I would like the guy as a person.
