Of course he didnt mean it, but that field goal totally ruined blondie

The fight should have been waived off after that, but it wasnt, and so an obviously in a lot of pain blondie has to eat a savage head kick followed by a brutal pummeling on the ground

    Not nice at all

Brutal lowblows like that should be instant DQ
Maybe be inside leg kicks above the knee should be outlawed as well to prevent this happening again

On the plus side, blondie would now make a great lead singer for a Beegees tribute band :good

That fight probably would fall more into the No Contest category.

No way. You can't DQ a man just because his inside leg kick missed it's mark.

Should have been a no contest. The man was debilitated by the kick.

No he should not have been it was an honest mistake. At worst it should have been ruled a NC.

It's the done thing in MMA at the moment

Too brave for his own good

A no contest ruling should have occured

And high inside leg kicks should be banned

No inside leg kicks that hit the nuts happen atleast a half dozen times on every MMA card. It happens to me everytime I spar its apart of the sport. I doubt Gonzaga whos faced the best fighters in the divison would intentionally kick a lesser known opponet in his nuts. Tuchsherer said he could fight and he did continue so no biggie here.

he sid he could fight - they all do that - its the done thing - it shows your a "warrior"

the guy was spewing into a bucket, then says, grimmacing, i can fight

**** the referee for not stepping in

Blondie didnt want to lost face, he didnt want to let the crowd down, but he was in no state

That ref really let him down badly

There are about 200 inside leg kicks thrown every event and you want to ban one of the most funamental aspects of the sport because once every thosand times it lands as a low blow, about half the time because of the way it's blocked?

    Not happening, shouldn't happen.

I don't think so. Gonzaga did nothing on purpose, obviously. It happens all the time. If it would've gotten called, it should've been ruled a NC.

Chris shouldn't have continued if he wanted the DQ. He honestly gained more attention and respect for continuing. So even though he lost he'll probably get another fight just for having the balls to go back out there.

The rules should state that the person who got lowblow should get a free lowblow back at his opponent, then both can **** out for several minutes to recover.. that way it is fair.
