Should hall of famers who drew the color line not be rated as highly?

I've not for a moment tried to claim that Nazi or Japanese were nice guys compared to the USA, so I'm not sure what road you are barking down there.

But I'm not blind to the atrocities committed on either side, and I mean just as much the ones before war broke out.

I'm glad the Russians had "plans" to enter Germany. I have plans to get a blow job from Giselle Bunchen. Western Front losses for Germany helped thwart their defense on the ever retreating Eastern Front. Stalin was badgering Churchill and FDR to quicken the invasion because he knew it expedite the Russian advance and ameliorate their losses.

Ironically enough Jack Johnson and Joe Louis avoided more ranked black contenders in title matches than just about any white champion.

For most tenured white champions there was really only 1 or 2 highly ranked black opponents that were avoided.

 

They weren't winning in 1941.

 

Russia beat the Nazis. Russia won the war, no question.

But, to be fair, America's contribution was a solid effort. Britain by itself could never have launched the invasions of Italy and Normandy, nevermind successfully.

 

Russia did the bulk of the killing and dying, no question.

The US has a lot of skeletons in its closet, no question.

I have yet to read the history of a country, or God forbid, a pre-societal tribe that wasn't bloodthirsty and animalistic. If we don't evolve beyond that sh*t, we certainly have the weaponry to end the Human Experiment.

true, but America hadn't "entered" Europe in 1941, had they, genius. They were content to chase Chinese oil by picking a fight with the tiny country of Japan (a story that might sound familiar).

And I seem to recall it was that tiny country of Japan (a pretty advanced industrialised nation of some 70 million people, btw) who attacked America.

I'm not condoning the actions on the day obviously, but do you think a small country like Japan could hope to cut it man-o-man against massive America without using blitzkrieg tactics?
