Another believer in a Greater East Asia Co-Proseperity Sphere!

The Japanese were doing great works there in Manchuria. Took them 50 years to apologize for that one.

The sun sets on giving a balanced picture for you then.

I'm not defending the British "Empire", it was a pox and scum and villainy on the world.

empire, what a word for it. Thieffest more like.

again, no ones claimed the Japs weren't nasty.

I am not sure what tree you are barking up with these failed arguments.

Some countries have made good progress, in terms of accepting responsibility for their crimes over this period, and some haven't.

Germany is leading the field at the moment, and Japan is the back runner.

Tell me the countries that weren't committing "crimes" over that period. Tell me about the peaceful, altruistic political or tribal bodies who had technical advantages and did not use them to subjugate internally or externally. What you call crimes may more precisely be labeled effective national aspirations. As Clausewitz famously noted, War is political discourse by other means....

On the otherhand, do we want to list the vast number of inventions and discoveries made by these evil bodies politic that have aided humanity at large?
