from what i hear, If he is victorioius tonight, he should be the mandatory challenger for Demarco's WBC strap. but, he seems interested in fighting Broner. Broner will be fighting in October in New Jersey(close to Lundy's hometown) Broner is also gunning for Demarco's belt. so the question is, should Lundy walk into another eliminator for WBC and go after Broner for some extra $$? or be inactive until he gets his shot?
We all know what Lundy would do. There's a reason he's been calling out Broner. You haven't heard Broner mention Lundy's name. If Broner does get the fight with DeMarco and wins, Lundy will be waiting for him.
Broner hasnt called him out because hes still an ESPN fighter, has no fans, and beltless. trust me, if he wins a title Broner will handle bizz and crack that glass jaw. :yep
Sure, why not...assuming he wins tonight. Lundy is a very talented fighter. His problem is that he doesn't have the greatest chin and seems to have lapses but on a good day he's going to be trouble for anyone.
Well maybe the Can Man should stop living up to his nickname by taking on coke heads and cans and fight a real fighter. Lundy has his flaws, but he's skilled, very tough, and very determined.
i agree. Lundy's a great, tough, talented fighter(with a weak chin :yep) this would be the biggest test yet for Broner. i really hope it goes down. it will be action packed and the **** talking would be fun to watch.
as far as i'm concerned, why not? hank lundy is a confident guy, and he's calling out broner like he considers him a guy who's receiving praise for no real reason. fight it out!
It's a fight that is quickly generating interest, I'm all for it. Once Broner gets Lundy measured out in the early rounds where he feels out Lundy's speed and timing, I can see him just accuratly checking that suspect chin and getting a TKO. Lundys best bet is to pounce on Broner early on and just make it rough working his body. Question who is promoting Lundy?
Oh, you know he is. But I do hope Lundy is not spending too much time over looking his opponent with all this Broner talk. Beltran is tough.
