I really felt sorry for Kellerman and Papas. They both sounded like they were put into a dilemma tonight. You can tell they wanted to say that Alexander was losing badly and it would be a robbery if he had won but the high powers that be HBO would frown upon such commentating on one of their fighters they want to build-up.

If you're mad at Lederman, and not HBO (Who had their commentators almost doing the same thing) then you're ******ed. Any HBO judge would've had a similar scorecard.

You're an idiot that score every rounds for Kotelnik. <<<For that you're the dumbest poster in the history of esb forum.

    What was Lederman's score then?

(I'm from the UK, we don't get fights like this live, I'll need to download it later this week)

Ledderman is an idiot. He needs glasses. HBO's house fighter was given a gift. That's why Max kept his mouth shut. Fire Ledderman. He was so biased!

I don't think I can ever forgiven Lederman for tonights scoring. It's funny how Max wanted to tell Lederman that none of Alexanders punches were landing, yet wouldn't or couldn't. I could smell a robbery from the 2nd round.

When I heard the pre-fight chatter before the Pirog/Jacobs fight I decided that the entire HBO broadcasting team should all be forced to fight both Klitscho brothers on the same night, and then black balled from broadcasting. The dumb mother****ers beat holy hell out of the sport they are supposed to be promoting!

lol good grief.... it amazes me how melodramatic ESB posters are
makes me think im here with a bunch of bitches...

I read thru this thread before getting to watch this fight thru
    (delayed to watch UFC117)
Was a bit dismayed about the emo remarks about Lederman

The judges unanimously went 116-112 for Devon
    Lederman went 118-110 for Devon
he did a good job (as usual) explaining his PoV and decision making, especially at the end 0f the 12th round. Yes, he did say in a ways he was biased, but judges are not biased on how a person is to win a round based off the 4 criteria? He said he does favor a busier fighter - that happened to be Devon.

I think peeps get caught up too much trying to dictate who won according to their PoV, and trying to win others over by pushing as fact. Its just an opinion, and not even a professional one. Calling out judges as biased, and you're not? Get real...

The commentators got caught in their own hyping of Alexander and flipped on him because they saw him not performing as well as was "expected", with a 9 to 1 favorite. IMO they started to favor Kotelnik cuz they felt somewhat betrayed by the overhyping, and trying to pressure Lederman and winning over the viewers at the same time.

Ironically, the same crap i see on ESB

I didn't agree w/ Lederman's scoring but I don't think that justifies him being fired. Kellerman makes mistakes and he's still working. Judges makes bad decisions and they're still judging fights.

The only problem here is some are saying that all three judges made the same exact bad decision. If it were a spit decision or a majority decision that would be one thing but it was unanimous. Lederman had it right for once.
