This is stupid. First, HBO has no business getting involved with the negotiations. They stand to make a lot of money regardless of who Pac/May fight. Second of all, Floyd did not agree to 14 days, he proposed it during the last negotiations, and it was REJECTED. That rejection immediately kills the offer. The negotiations going on now is a whole new deal, and the discussions before are no longer applicable. I would like to see the fight just as bad as everybody else, but comments like this are just stupid. The proposed ultimatum is not even something that HBO could legally do. Last time I checked Pac was not a mandatory challenger. The only thing that can really be done is "we, the fans" not support either fighter unless they fight each other.
Yes, they should give Mayweather and Pacquiao both the same ultimatum, but that's unrealistic and will never happen. HBO is a business and makes millions of dollars off both fighters no matter who they fight.
its not hbo"s fault its the consumers for purchasing crap fights. As long as we are paying the money y should hbo step in and do anything.
You are on a ******* bender with these dumb threads. Why doesn't HBO ask Pac, "You knew he said USADA testing and that the USADA does not do cut off dates. Why are you all of a sudden cool with 14 days?" Then they should ask, "If 14 days is OK now WTF did you kill the first fight for? What are you hiding?" Then after that they should ask Pac, "What the hell does "not too much" blood mean? What is next? Will you say you will fight if the rounds are "not too long"? The test amount is the test amount. Who are you to debate it?" Next they should ask, "Why are you guys working so hard to kill this fight before it starts? Even you said you won't make the mistake of negotiating in the press and you are making numerous press statements that make little or no sense! What is wrong with you guys?!?" The sad part as that morons like you seem to be filtering out the constant contradictions of Pac. :bart
