Should his boxing fundementals have saved Roy Jones from all those KO's?

    He had fundamentals. He beat guys like Del Valle on fundamentals.

    But most of the time he never had to use it. It's not like he didn't know how to throw a great jab, watch his jab in the Vinny Paz fight. He threw a better jab than I've ever seen from anyone. He had the ability to throw really straight proper punches but when you get used to always being faster, stronger, and rely on your talent, it's just like what happened to James Toney.

    James Toney neglected his athleticism because he had so much technical talent.

    he didnt lose to Calzaghe due to his jaw. He lost due to his declined athleticism. Prime for Prime Calzaghe would have been treated just like Clinton Woods.
