I do not like Floyd. And I especially do not like how he acts with money. Flashing his dollaz, makin da hoez holla. I do want to see this fight simply for the possibility of Hatton connecting solid and knocking Floyd's head around MGM arena like a pin ball machine and winning by knock out, but logic tells me FLoyd will dance all night and win a semi-boring decision over the Hitman. A jerk like Floyd has no business with my hard earned, but at the same time I do want to see this fight and will regret not buying it if something magical happens. To Shmoyd, or NOT to Shmoyd?
I will be watching the fight but they will not be getting any money from me lol. I do not like Floyd but he is the best in the sport right now. I think he will demolish Hatton but I hope Hatton gets lucky. But I think he is in for a serious beating. He is just not on the same level.
i don't think floyd will suffer from your boycott, do yourself a favor and get the fight. maybe ricky will get lucky.
Dont get so emotional about it and enjoy Floyds skills. He has a lot of them. Enjoy Hattons skills as well. Whoever wins wins.
Yeah, that's more or less how I'm starting to look at it. Even though I'd have a little more peace of mind knowing he is not profiting off me.
That's the one thing I really don't get about the whole Floyd/Gangsta rap style position of flaunting the wealth ala an episode of MTV Cribs. I mean, I'm not black - I don't pretend to understand - I'm asking a genuine question - When rappers and fighters talk about being "real" and "street" - Then sit around in their videos flashing bills like P-Money or riding in cars that cost more than an average "street" families annual income - Is it perceived as a display of someone like them rising above their circumstances and doing well and celebrating it with the goal of inspiring others? Cause when I see people - black or white -doing that I feel like they're trying to rub their success in others faces... I'm not jealous, I do OK for money and have permanent work - But I don't really get how you can be "real" and "street" and then drive the latest pimped out benz with 100K rolls blowing around - Not many "street" folks go around like that - Or they'd end up like Zab that time he was in New York and was relieved of his bling...
Floyd flashes his money because he is part of a low-life MTV culture. A very high school, dumbed down, lowest common denominator type of life style. The only difference between Floyd and your typical low life thug from the streets is that he has some very good boxing skills and was able to make a lot of money off of that. Beyond that, same-same.
