Damn that is extremly low what are you a distance runner? seriously anything below 11% is putting your body at risk... not that other fighters have not had success dropping down that low there are plenty but you risk your health in the end.
No, I don't run any sort of long distances, I eat a ton and what I want and lift weights as well, I don't even try to cut and I make 165 easy. If I really wanted to I could cut to 152 but I realized that would be super unhealthy and not good for my bad.
When muscles have reached storage capacity insulin will have to be ignored. If this happens all the time, in case of a fat person for instance, that person will become resistant to insulin. Generally accepted does not mean a thing to me. For a long time it was generally accepted that eggs raised cholesterol levels. It's a myth. No argument here. The goal of the sharp increase in insulin is to make muscle take the glucose in. Only if that is not possible will it build insulin resistance.
The insulin reistance is only one small part of what I'm saying. I don't really see how you can have no argument with that particular section of knowledge and maintain your original position. To me they contradict one another. But anyway, I think either you're misunderstanding what I'm saying or I'm misunderstanding what you're saying, so I think we've gone about as far as we can on this one :good (but I'm right). I think thet only way we can settle this is for you to eat massive amounts of refined sugar and see how fat you get . Please post before and after photos.
We agree for the most part, I disagree with some details. I don't think they contradict each other, it depends whether someone is structurally overeating or not. I'd get fat and probably become a diabetic at some point.
