You're an idiot. Amateur records mean **** all; what matters in the amateurs is how you do, how your skills develop, and eventually what national tournaments you compete in and especially which ones you win if you want to make money at it.

To be hoenst I think that an amauter record isn't required to get into any tournaments... You just have to win the the bouts in the tournament... doesn't matter if you show up 0-100 at the golden gloves if you win the elimnation bouts you can still be the Golden glove champion. You are an idiot.

You really need to chill out man and stop running your mouth especially when your talking about Koyla you are losing any chance of ever gaining crediblity. Koyla isnt even close to a fat load the man has been boxing in tournaments all around this country and has actually showed some fights here as proof hes a quite knowledgable person. You cant even spell yet you have the gaul to disrespect a ESB vet whos probablly had more bouts in a day then you have in your life jackass.

Lmfao It doesn't... Boxers have started with no amateur fights and gotten some recognition in the profesional world. Your record in the amateurs makes no difference whether or not you can fight in a tournament, you just have to win qualifiers. :patsch

Sounds like your learning. If you like it stick to it. I have a kid boxing under me who is 0-3 , but two of his fights were Split decision losses and even the third (that fight was for a State Title) one he won one round of three. All three kids were 11 and he was only 10.
There was a fighter who went 0-7 and went on to win a Nation Amateur Championship. His name was Ronnie Warrior. So you never know what might happen if you train hard and keep learning. Since you aren't getting knocked out you may consider sticking with it. If your heart isn't in it though then you might as well quit. Is your heart in it?

man your 17 wtf. if you kept training hardcore for 10 years imagine how good you could be? It sounds like you got stamina issues. just run like 10 miles a day and see what happens.

    Happens to all of us!

I went through a stage when I was 16 where I lost 4 of 6 fights.. it was when i was only making my transition from youth to senior boxing.
And i can assure you you'll learn alot more in defeat than if you're getting easy wins..i got hungrier...and angrier.. Ive lost 10 fights now and been stopped twice and still Ive won 30 fights and 7 on the trot.
    Don't quit!!!!!!!!:good

Henry Armstrong lost 3 of his first 4 fights yet was one of the greatest fighters ever within a couple of years. Keept at it :good . If your posting in a few years time with a 0-100 record of course then it might be time to reconsider.

I have a friend who has lost over 50 bouts and is ranked #4 in the nation. Records don't matter, it's how well you progress at tournaments....and of course, if you are enjoying it.

Ya musta forgot that amateur is there just for that. To improve so that when you go pro you dont get stomped. Dont worry bro.

If you fall, get up and try again. And if you drop, get up and try again.
