When it comes to weight lifting, if you want to get a certain part of your body big you only have to train a few times a week so you can let it rest and develop. Is it the same with punching power training or can I incorporate it in every workout???

    Right...

The same rules apply to all muscle growth, so yes you should rest for recovery. BUT as a lot of punching power comes from technique you can build your regime to do it every day.

That being said you need to be sensible - try alternating some anaerobic routine one day with some slow paced technique training the next. Remember to warm up dynamically and cool down with stretching, be aware of injuries to your hands and wrist (the tendons need to recover too).

Wish I read this last week. I just hurt my wrist and have been taking some time off, thanks for the advise.
